Overview of Seaport-e...
Longevity has been awarded contract #N00178-09-D-5770 to support Seaport Enhanced (SeaPort-e), a Navy contract vehicle worth $5.3 billion per year over ten years for providing a variety of support services for weapon systems acquisition. The contract has a four-year base period with one five-year award term and one additional one-year award term, for a total contract term of ten years.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract includes R&D support, prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, test and evaluation and engineering support for the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs and the Marine Corps.

Quality Assurance

Longevity’s management approach is highlighted by a customer-focused approach to meeting our customer’s requirements.  Every effort is earmarked by a detailed project plan outlining the tasks to be accomplished and the timeframe for accomplishing each activity.  Longevity manages these plans as flexible, living documents, which can be customized to meet unforeseen customer needs. 

To ensure that each customer is totally satisfied with the quality of products produced, the Longevity Consulting task manager will perform several critical tasks, some of which will be accomplished in parallel with one another.  A common quality control component of each task performed will be joint reviews of each deliverable (briefings, converted process maps, etc.) produced to ensure that the customer is totally satisfied with the content and focus of each product.  To ensure the highest possible quality in the deliverables provided, Longevity Consulting will employ two levels of reviews of each deliverable product.
