Washington, DC – July 27, 2015 – Longevity Consulting, one of Washington D.C.’s leading providers of real property support to the federal government, was recently awarded a multi-year contract renewal by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Under the contract, awarded under USAID’s Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA), Longevity will continue to provide Federal Real Property Support to the agency for the next four years.
Longevity’s consultants will act as expert advisors, working with senior-level staff in the decision making on the design and implementation of strategic initiatives and will report to internal and external stakeholders. “We’re excited to provide our leading real property support services to the Office of Acquisition and Assistance through seamless logistical and forward-thinking solutions,” said Eric Thompson, Chief Operations Officer of Longevity Consulting. “We are pleased to continue working with USAID in support of their valuable mission.”
USAID is the Government agency primarily responsible for administering civilian foreign aid. Working side-by-side with the military in active conflicts, USAID plays a critical role in our nation’s effort to stabilize countries and build responsive local governance; they work on the same problems as our military, using a different set of tools. They also ease the transition between conflict and long-term development by investing in agriculture, health systems and democratic institutions.
