Longevity Consulting Wins Contract with NIH, NIMH to Provide Logistical Support for Conferences and Meetings

Washington, DC – April 20, 2016 – Longevity Consulting has been awarded a contract by the National Institute of Health (NIH), National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) to provide logistical support for their research conferences and meetings, which further their mission of transforming the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses through basic and clinical research, paving the way for prevention, recovery, and cure. The mission of NIMH is to transform the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses through basic and clinical research, paving the way for prevention, recovery, and cure.  These conferences and meetings are critical to the mission of NIMH and are a highly effective way of sharing scientific information by providing a formal mechanism for the examination of research progress and results as well as discussion of innovative research.

Longevity Consulting will provide logistical support for multiple, concurrent meetings and conferences ranging in size from 30 to 300 attendees.  All conference-related activities will be supported from the early pre-planning stages to post meeting/conference activities.  Logistical support will include, but not be limited to, site selection, negotiation of hotel contracts, coordination and dissemination of meeting invitations, preparation and dissemination of meeting materials, coordination of presentations ensuring compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, design and posting of registration web sites, onsite registration, travel and lodging arrangement in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations, vendor coordination (e.g. transportation, transcription, science writer services, photography, video recording), onsite staffing, and post-conference services.

Longevity Consulting Wins Prime Position on $50 Million IDIQ to Support USDA Forest Services’ Implementation and Advisory of Human Resource Technologies

Washington, DC – April 14, 2016 – Longevity Consulting announced today that it has been awarded as a prime contractor on the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Services (FS) Human Resources Technology Implementation and Advisory Support Services contract. This award is a multi-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling value of $50 million dollars used to assist with all stages of the Forest Services’ application implementation in the Human Resources Management (HRM) Enterprise. Other USDA agencies may use the IDIQ as well.

Within FS, HRM provides comprehensive HR services to nearly 40,000 full-time and seasonal employees, including labor management and employee relations, employee development, staffing, classification, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and other related functions.

This large scope effort includes: Project management and strategy development; design, build, test, and deploy; as well as risk, issue, and change management. Additionally, team members will provide advisory services to support HRM in strategic direction, including but not limited to, impact of new legislation/regulation to the organization, innovations/best practices in technology or management practices in both the federal government and the private sector, and strategic planning.
