Washington, DC – September 30, 2016 – Longevity Consulting is proud to announce it has been officially certified and verified by the U.S. Veterans Administration (VA) as a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This certification makes Longevity eligible to participate in the Veterans First Contracting Program, and has been added to the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at http://www.VetBiz.gov.
The SDVOSB designation is reserved for business owners who have served in the military and have a service-related disability. The VA requires veteran-owned small businesses to complete a rigorous vetting process in order to earn the certification. This scrutiny ensures only quality service-disabled veterans can qualify for certain federal government projects and non-competitive contracting opportunities. As a SDVOSB recipient, Longevity Consulting is immediately positioned to obtain sole source contracts up to $4M and pursue SDVOSB government Set-Aside contracts.
“We’re honored to have the SDVOSB designation and to be able to participate in the Veterans First Contracting Program. It was an honor to serve our country, and it’s a privilege to serve our customers in the federal government. We look forward to further extending our outreach in the public sector,” said Longevity President and Chief Executive Officer Bobby Long.
