Washington, DC – June 6, 2016 – Longevity Consulting is pleased to announce it has won an award to provide Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) logistical support for grant competition related activities and performance data collection.
Longevity’s efforts will support the Department of Education (ED) in achieving its goals to design, develop, and deliver innovative education methods and practices that promote diversity and increase choices in public education programs. In doing so, Longevity’s contributions will assist in the desegregation of public schools by supporting the elimination, reduction, and prevention of minority group isolation.
MSAP grantees support the development and implementation of magnet schools that assist in the achievement of systemic reforms and provide all students with the opportunity to meet challenging academic content and student academic achievement standards. Under this contract, Longevity will assist the ED in evaluating the extent to which an MSAP applicant has proposed to reduce, eliminate or prevent minority group isolation.
“These efforts are critical to the continued progression and success of our American society, and we are thrilled to have yet another opportunity to support our local community and education system. We look forward to working closely with the Department of Education to ensure continued success for magnet schools and their assistance programs,” said Longevity President and Chief Executive Officer, Bobby Long.
