Washington, DC – March 9, 2016 – Richard Gibbs, a Senior Acquisition Management and Program Manager for Longevity Consulting, will host a series of training courses on Procurement Acquisition for employees of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Mr. Gibbs, one of the field’s leading experts, with over 35 years of experience in procurement acquisition, will conduct a 3-day facilitated training session and workshop covering Agency Needs, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Market Research, and Contract Administration. Participants will learn skills required to successfully collect and analyze information about capabilities within the market to satisfy agency needs, produce Statement of Work (SOW) requirement documents, understand the requirements and create Independent Government Cost Estimates, and better function as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR). After completion of each course participants will receive 1.5 CLPs per class.
