Chief Operations Officer
As Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Thompson is responsible for helping define Longevity’s strategic vision, develop the business, and direct the company’s operations. He brings over 16 years of experience in business analysis and software development to the firm, in the areas of information technology, product development, and professional consulting services.
Prior to joining Longevity, Mr. Thompson worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he held the positions of Associate and Senior Enterprise Services Analyst. Throughout his career, Mr. Thompson has specialized in enterprise architecture, e-commerce, web application development, and technical consulting in both the private and public sectors. He possesses a wide range of experience in business application modeling, enterprise architecture and full life-cycle software development for B2C and B2B systems.
Before his tenure at Booz Allen Hamilton, Mr. Thompson worked for Cisco Systems, Inc. in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, where he focused on software engineering and systems analysis. Additionally, Mr. Thompson held several positions in the Research & Development and Information Systems organizations at Nortel Networks, also in The Triangle.
Mr. Thompson graduated from North Carolina State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Design. He also received an MBA with a concentration in Information Systems from Marymount University in 2003.
